Fine art illustration

Before coming to the UK and studying illustration, I graduated as an architect in Paris. I developed craft skills that allowed me to work as a model-maker in various architecture and set design companies in order to support my debuts as a freelance illustrator. This joy of making has naturally merged into my illustration practice, and over the years I have developed a portfolio of unique, intricate fine art pieces such as illustrated models, pop-ups and collages. Through my residency at the Pervasive Media Studio and the study of various immersive technologies, I want to explore how to enhance the sensory aspect of my illustrated artworks, outside of screens and expensive devices, and offer a potential for magical material escapes.

Welcome to the LEFTOVERS curiosity cabinet, a forever-growing collection of paper artworks made by recycling my own scraps. Over the years working as an illustrator I have accumulated a fair amount of paper residues. I find them beautiful and enjoy turning them into analogue collages and models, like a desk-sized circular creative economy…
